GC - Assign Activity to Multiple Accounts for MS CRM 4.0 is a simple but very handy add-on for Microsoft CRM 4.0. It lets you add any type of the following tasks to multiple accounts or contacts in one click.
You can also assign marketing tasks to multiple users on your team.
- Task
- Fax
- Phone Call
- E-Mail
- Letter
- Appointment
- Campaign Response
Consider a situation where you are a salesman. You now want to add an activity of type task or phone call to 10 of your Accounts/Contacts on the first of next month to talk to them about a new opportunity. Currently you will have to open each contact and add this activity, enter the subject, notes, date, priority, due date and select the Account. Using our add-on you do all this with very few clicks. You do not have to repeatedly add it to each account separately. See below for screen shots on how easy it is to use the application.
Installation:
Installation is very simple. You need to install the add-on directly on the CRM server. During the installation you will be asked for the CRM web URL, username, password. The user account needs to have permissions to make customizations. You will require a valid registration code and registration requires access to the internet during the registration process.
Licensing:
Licensing for the add-on is a onetime payment of $100 for your entire organization.

Here you will notice one button added to the activity toolbar. This button will show up once you save the activity. You can use this button to assign regular activity to multiple Accounts or you can assign this task to multiple contacts on your team.

 When you click on "Assign Multiple" you will get this popup with all the Accounts and Contacts only in your CRM system. Select as many as you want to assign to and click OK to assign.

Here you will notice one button added to the campaign activity toolbar. This button will show up once you save the activity.

When you click on "Assign Multiple" you will get this popup with all the Users only in your CRM system. Select as many as you want to assign to and click OK to assign.

The Campaign activity will now be assigned to these selected Users.
