1. INTRODUCTION

Do you use Monsoon to manage your inventory? Are you looking for a bird’s eye view of your warehouse showing location, products and quantity in your warehouse? GC - Inventory Report is just what you need.

2. HOW THE APPLICATION WORKS

After installing "GC - Inventory Report" it provides a very simple interface to configure the database settings. This is a 1 time process. You have to enter the SQL Server Name, SQL User ID, SQL Password and Database Name of the Monsoon database. "Test Connection" will check if the database settings is correct. It will display an error if the connection failed. If the connection succeeds click on "Save" to save your Database credentials.You can later change this setting if any changes to the database happen.

After saving the database credentials, "GC - Inventory Report" starts generating the Inventort Report from monsoon as shown in Figure 1.

2.1 Summary View

In the Summary View you can see the report grouped by Bay number. The Summary view has Bay number, Total Titles, Total No.of Books and Total cost. The Summary view looks as shown below:

2.2 Detailed View

The detailed view is a drill down view of each bay. It gives the details of the inventory in each bay. This view shows the SKU, Title Name/Book Name, Amazon Lowest Price, Quantity, Item Cost, Total(Quantity*Item Cost)

What can be done with the Report?

You can export the inventory report to a PDF or excel file for further processing.
